"Blue Angel" for more environmental protection in schools and offices
In view of the future of our earth and in currently tense times of raw material availability, the writing utensil manufacturer ONLINE based in Neumarkt/Germany presents fountain pens and rollerballs in the AIR line that have been awarded with the German ecolabel "Blue Angel". The German government's eco-label is independent and sets high standards for environmentally friendly products. The "Blue Angel" was launched by the German government 40 years ago and provides reliable orientation for environmentally conscious purchasing.
The particularly strict requirements include the following criteria:
Resource-efficient – environmentally-friendly – low-emission – long-service life
Resource-saving manufacturing uses recycled material, often referred to as post-consumer material. The product must be made of at least 80% of the recycled material in order to be awarded the ecolabel. Online produces the cap, barrel and grip part of both writing instruments from approximately 91% recycled plastic.
The low-emission levels of the ink cartridges must also meet the legal requirements of the "Blue Angel". ONLINE's combi cartridge in royal blue meets these environmental and health requirements.
The longevity of the writing instruments is one of ONLINE's top priorities; this is also the case for these fountain pens and rollerballs, which are equipped with a metal clip and can be refilled with standard ink cartridges. Unnecessary packaging is omitted, entirely in the sense of conserving resources. The cardboard display is produced from recycled paper - with at least 80% recycled paper fibers. No further coatings or composite materials are used.
